Working with La Brique Libre
La Brique Libre is an independent French-language media covering alternative building-brick brands. We publish hands-on set reviews, buying guides, and the first French-language price comparison tool for the category.
Our audience
French-speaking adult builders and collectors, mostly in France, Belgium and Switzerland, who are moving beyond the market leader and want to know what alternative sets are worth and where to buy them safely.
How we work
We buy the sets we review. Every set is built completely before it is rated, on five criteria: brick quality, prints and stickers, model design, building experience, and value for money. Our ratings are never changed after publication except to correct a factual error.
Our price comparison tool tracks sets across shops we have audited ourselves. A shop is only marked verified after we have ordered from it and tested its customer service. Shops we have not audited are listed for information only, with a warning, and are never presented as our best price.
Affiliate links and independence
Some of our links are affiliate links, always disclosed. They never influence a rating, a ranking, or a recommendation. We publish negative reviews, and we say so when a set is not worth its price.
What we ask from brands
- Permission to use your official product images, with credit
- Access to your press materials and release calendar
- Your policy on review samples. We buy what we review; any sample provided is clearly disclosed to our readers.
