Who we are

La Brique Libre is an independent French-language media covering alternative building-brick brands: Pantasy, Mould King, CADA, COBI, Lumibricks, BlueBrixx, and more. The site publishes hands-on set reviews, buying guides, and a price comparison tool.

How we work

We buy the sets we review. Every set is built completely before it is rated. Ratings are never changed after publication except to correct a factual error, with the correction dated at the bottom of the review.

Our price comparison tool tracks sets across shops we have audited ourselves. A shop is only marked verified after we have ordered from it and tested its customer service and returns policy. Shops we have not audited are listed for information only, with a warning, and are never presented as our best price.

Independence and funding

La Brique Libre is funded primarily by affiliate revenue. Some of our links to shops carry an affiliate tag. This never influences a rating, a ranking, or a recommendation.

• Ratings are set before we check whether any partner sells the set.
• The comparator sorts offers by price, never by commission.
• No brand or shop has editorial oversight on what we publish.

We publish negative reviews, and we say so when a set is not worth its price.
